Alright so this week was pretty great! We didn't meet too many promising people until Saturday. Oh my goodness Saturday was a special day y'all! We visited a lady named lisa who talked to missionaries before and she told us how much she loved the Book of Mormon and we set up a return appointment with her. We were kind of confused because she seems super elect about was dropped by missionaries before so I guess she had a change of heart or something but we will see. We are planning on bringing a recent convert named dawn and she has a super powerful testimony of the Book of Mormon and how it helped her get over her addictions to coffee and smoking. I love members who love missionary work! There is nothing better than to have a member present at lessons because it just helps the investigator feel a whole lot more comfortable with everything because they have a friend.
We also knocked on the door right below Lisa's apartment and met another guy named Phillip who is legally blind but can still see a little bit and he invited us in and we talked to him about his beliefs and about faith and he really wanted us to come back! We just had two great contacts in a row! Blessings!
I had another trio tradeoff with Elder Louis and Elder Redford while our companions went to their missionary leadership conference and we had another great time together. We basically just biked to that one lady named Terry's house and she still hasnt read much of the Book of Mormon since the last time we went over there which was back in December. She kept asking why do I need the Book of Mormon when I have the Bible and she kept saying she was cautious about it being true. We kept testifying about our own experiences of how we know it's true and telling her that she can only know if it's true if she reads it. Again she said she would read it so we'll see what happens with that.
Great week overall though! I hope y'all enjoyed the super bowl and especially fast Sunday. I love fast Sunday and the opportunity I get to sacrifice two meals to show my love for God. I love all of you so much! Keep on keepin on!
